Peter Dowling and Rob Kennedy will present a new LIVE work that continues a series of collaborations drawing on the combined techniques of composition and improvisation as used in both sound and video performance.   This work has been produced in residence at PRIM during August 2007

6pm – 8pm , open-house presentation of work-in-progress, including Peter Dowling's new 5.1-audio work – ‘ Black Box Picnic (semaphore is dead) '.

7.30pm – screening of a new recorded video work by Rob Kennedy and Peter Dowling, and a solo computer-performance by Peter Dowling.

Their residency has been supported by CALQ (Québec) and SAC (Scotland), and produced by PRIM in Montréal.   This residency is part of a three-year exchange programme instigated by CCA (Glasgow, Scotland) and CALQ, facilitating the creation of new works by artists from Montréal and Glasgow
